Our cottage is on the edge of the woods tucked close to mature ash, oak and plum trees. It is part of an ancient site which we rebuilt from ruins with a simple and rustic open plan layout. Sympathetically restored, the large living space has a massive hearth housing a state of the art woodstove for fireside evenings and a newly fitted trifold opening door that leads onto the sunny terrace. At the other end of the large downstairs is the open plan kitchen.
